The Three Times

Meditation on the Interbeing of All Times
The Five Rivers of Being are unbroken threads that are woven together from all times. You and all things are a beautiful gathering of those threads, expressed in the present moment, since the first cell of your forming, with each non-you cell of your growing, to the dispersing lines of your unweaving.
- Breathing in, I am aware of what is past;
Breathing out, I am not limited by the past. - Breathing in, I am aware of what is present;
Breathing out, I not limited by the present. - Breathing in, I am aware of what is future;
Breathing out, I am not limited by the future. - I am aware of the existence of past in present.
I am aware of the existence of present in future.
All times coexist with one another.
A wave does not change the nature of water; instead, it is an expression of water. The nature of time is not water in motion; instead, it is the existence of waves upon that water. Events of the world are rain upon the surface of a lake; the lake is unchanged, while the ripples of each drop pass in and through one another.
