Namo 'Valokiteśvaraya ❂

Namo Avalokiteśvara

While we listen to or chant the Bodhisattva’s name the first time around, we come go back to ourselves to touch the suffering inside of us. The second time, we become aware of the suffering of the people around us. The third time, we get in touch with the suffering of the whole world, embracing it tenderly with the energy of compassion.

Namo Avalokiteśvaraya

The Sisters and Brothers of Plum Village

Here is this beautiful chant from the Plum Village Sutra library (Plum Village / YouTube)
